Just Sold: Eagan semi repair center draws $5 million

An entity related to Eden Prairie-based Interstate Development closed May 16 on the $5 million acquisition of a 54,825-square-foot semi repair center at 3275 Dodd Road in Eagan. Borchert Industrial LLC bought the 10.35-acre property from Minneapolis-based Lund Properties LLC, an entity related to a private investor in Minneapolis. The price works out to $91.20 per square foot.
The building, completed in 1974, includes three dock doors. The property is on the west side of Dodd Road, between Lone Oak and Yankee Doodle roads. It is leased to Michigan-based Road Equipment Parts Center, which has 14 locations across the country, deals in aftermarket heavy duty truck and trailer parts.
Interstate specializes in value-add investments. Company officials couldn’t be reached Tuesday.
